The Challenge: The "Black Box" and Ineffectiveness of Traditional Compliance Training
At the project's outset, we analyzed the deep-seated problems created by traditional compliance and training models. Although companies organized costly annual training sessions, they could not measure the extent to which these efforts translated into actual behavioral change. "Training fatigue" had set in among employees, and presentations and tests had become chores to be completed as quickly as possible.
This situation created a dangerous "black box" in corporate risk management: it was impossible to know which department, location, or position was more vulnerable to which specific regulatory risk (e.g., KVKK, MASAK, competition law). In the face of constantly updated regulations and employee turnover, one-off training sessions failed to keep corporate memory alive, making it impossible to build a sustainable compliance culture. This ineffectiveness was paving the way for potential legal sanctions and reputational damage.
For example, although employees at a bank were given one-off seminars for MASAK compliance, the extent to which this training translated into behavioral change could not be measured. Thanks to ComplAiHub, by creating specific risk questions for each department, it became possible to see in real-time which branch was deficient in which area of risk. This allows HR and compliance units to answer the question, “which employee needs development in which area?” based on data.
